February 2010 My "Letter from New Zealand" appears in the March issue of Art Monthly. Underway are a cataloue for painter Chuck Webster's forthcoming solo exhibition at Steven Zevitas Gallery in Boston, and an essay on Stephen Nguyen's forthcoming project at Suyama Space in Seattle. I also recently became a member of Room 58, a writer's space in Brooklyn, and completed a Mediabistro course in InDesign for Writers and Editors, and contributed two new artworks to "The Great Pop-Up Art Sale." a fundraiser for d.u.m.b.o. arts center (dac).

December 2009 On Any Given Day..., the 2010-2011 catalogue for Graduate Programs at the School of Visual Arts, New York, in which I interview President David Rhodes and department chairs including David Levi-Strauss, Steven Heller, and David Shirey, is available from the school. Available from Marlborough Chelsea is the catalogue for painter Steven Charles's October exhibition "The Upstairs Room," for which I wrote the introductory essay. "Frontin'," my article on Pharrell Williams and celebrity interdisciplinarity, is the cover article in the December/January issue of Modern Painters. And my essay on painter Marti Cormand will appear in the cataloge for his exhibiton at la Fundació Arranz-Bravo, Barcelona, in February 2010. Currently underway is an essay on artist Guy Benfield's residency and exhibition "Night Store" at Art in General, New York, which will be published by the gallery in 2010.

July 2009 Aside from ongoing regular contriutions to magazines, projects underway include an essay on Yoshitomo Nara for a major exhibition catalogue to be published by the Asia Society, New York, in association with Abrams in September 2010; the text for a forthcoming book catalogue from Distributed Art Publishers (d.a.p.); an introductory essay for a forthcoming yearbook from Momenta Art, Brooklyn, and a curatorial project at Locust Projects, Miami, opening in May 2010.
